The Middlebury Police Department’s reserve program is vital to the departments staffing needs, as they help cover shifts for sworn officers and help with the Town of Middlebury’s special events and festivals. Our reserves receive the same yearly training as our full-time staff and are able to enforce all laws and have the same police powers as a full-time sworn officer when they are on duty for the Middlebury Police Department.
